5S is a common sense approach to improving the workplace -- to improve quality, productivity and safety -- by cleaning up and getting organized. While this may sound simple... and it is, but there is more to it that just sweeping and putting thing away.

5S is a Five Step systematic approach that get things cleaned up; sorted so that what is necessary is available; organized; and a system is put in place to keep things cleaned up and organized.
